CLR PRO® Commercial Probiotic Cleaner

Diluent: CAS #7732-18-5. Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water treatment process that removes contaminants from water by passing the water through a membrane, (filter), where contaminants are filtered out yielding more pure quality water.

Microbial Ferment.  Bacillus bacterial ferments use beneficial, live Bacillus bacteria, often in spore form, to break down organic matter like fats, oils, and grease and eliminate odors.  These probiotic cleaners provide a long-lasting clean by secreting enzymes that digest dirt and grime, continuing to work after initial application.  Bacillus bacterial ferments are approved for safety under regulatory frameworks like General Recognized as Safe (GRAS) in the U.S.

Solvent: CAS #57-55-6. A versatile, water-miscible solvent used to dissolve lipid- and water-soluble compounds. As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.

Surfactant: CAS #1300-72-7. An organic compound that increases the ability of water to dissolve other molecules. It is also found in personal care products as a surfactant, to modify the surface tension of water, to aid in even spreading and to allow mixing with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away. As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.

Surfactant: CAS # 68515-73-1. A mild solubilizing nonionic surfactant that modifies the surface tension of water to aid in uniform dispersion and allow mixing with oil and dirt so they can be rinsed away. It is derived from renewable raw materials: fatty alcohols and plant sugars. As part of the EPA's Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.

Hydrotrope: CAS #9005-66-7.  Polysorbate 40 helps water dissolve otherwise insoluble organic compounds.  As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.

Solvent.  Acts as a solvent and vehicle to deliver other substances, enhancing the solubility of certain stains and soils.

Builder:  CAS #1052620-22-0.  A substance that boosts the cleaning effectiveness of surfactants by counteracting the effects of mineral ions in hard water.  As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.
